Guidelines:
- All photos must be 8”x10” and mounted on 10”x12” black mats. (No foam board.) Recommended 1” black border on all sides.
- All photos must be taken in Rock County.
- All photos must be taken in the past year (August 2023-July 2024).
- All photos must remain on display through the entire fair week.
Entry Instructions:
- Open to all adults and youth (14 and older)
- Entry time: July 15-22 (Photos must have entry form taped to the back of the photo mounting board) photo/entry form must be brought to the Fair Office on the Rock County 4-H Fairgrounds during business hours (9 am-5 pm) no later than Monday July 22 at 5 pm)
- Limit of ONE photo entry in each category.
- All photos may be picked up at the RCF Office on Thursday, August 1st, along with any ribbons and/or prizes awarded.
- Winning photos may be selected for promotional use.
Judging: Tuesday, July 23 10am - IN FOOD FAIR #2 TENT
- Quality (clear, sharp photo, use of thirds, etc) - 30%
- Creativity (unique, interesting, etc.) 30%
- Adherence to Theme (fits the category) 40%
Premiums (for each category): 1st place: $20, 2nd place: $10, 3rd place: $5
